Welcome to Rainbow Pre-school!

Rainbow Pre-school is a committee run pre-school which has been established for many years with its initial certificate of registration being given in January 1977.  We are also a registered charity.

Our approach

Our Aims and Objectives are to:

  • Provide high quality care and education for children between the ages of 2 to 5 years, with particular regard to four guiding principles that every child is a unique child, children learn to be strong and independent through positive relationships, children learn and develop well in enabling environments and children develop and learn in different ways and at different rates, which are embedded in the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.

  • Work in partnership with parents to help children learn and develop

  • Offer children and their parents a service which promotes equality and values diversity

  • Adds to the life and well being of its local community

For children in our care we offer

  • a safe and stimulating environment

  • high adult:child ratio to ensure individual care, attention and support

  • a Key Person system enabling us to monitor the individual needs of each child

  • a carefully planned and balanced Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum ensuring children are encouraged to develop their full potential at their own pace
